Natural cycle of renting has fallen apart

The natural cycle of renting in the UK has fallen apart due to
people's inability to afford their own homes, according to an
expert.
Matt Hutchinson, director at SpareRoom, said that because people
cannot afford to buy their own properties, the cost of renting
homes is going up to meet demand.
While this is not the best news for people who are looking to rent
a property, it is for people with property
to rent in Bournemouth, who could see their rental yield
increase.
Mr Hutchinson said: "The demand for rentals is going up, so prices
are going up and that is filtering down into the flatshare
world."
It was recently reported by Paragon that the demand for rental
properties in the UK could see an increase in 2012, as 56 per cent
of landlords have reported that they expect to see more people
vying for rental homes over the next year.
